Ms. Forough Ghahramani is the founder of Life Sciences Computing LLC. She has twenty three years of experience in the computer industry in designing, developing, and managing the delivery of complex high performance UNIX solutions for clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical, financial, and health care organizations. Her experience includes UNIX operating system software development and design, performance characterization, software and hardware architecture migration consulting, technical project management, and technical sales for High Performance Technical Computing environments. Ms. Ghahramani's education includes a Master of Business Administration from DePaul University, Master of Computer Science from Villanova University, and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Biology from Pennsylvania State University. Ms. Ghahramani is also Chair of Biomedical Informatics and Computer Information Systems at DeVry University. Ms. Ghahramani has a background in teaching mathematics at Eastern University. She is a member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), past Director of Alliances for World Women In Technology (WWIT), Executive Director of PrincetonWIT,a National Founding Partner of Women Impacting Public Policy(WIPP), and an Executive Advisory Board member of Euro-American Women's Council (EAWC).  Ms. Ghahramani is a recognized leader in developing and implementing programs to attract and retain women in science and engineering fields.

Ms. Ghahramani has designed curriculum for Life Science Accreditation for Information Technology Industry professionals. The program offers courses in the techniques and technologies of biotechnology as well as the converegence of biotechnology and information technology. Ms. Ghahramani's expertise and input has been sought in developing programs for people already in the Information Technology industry to transition into bioinformatics, biotechnology, healthcare, and medical industries.
